Hollywood Casino Grand Opening a Success!

The Hollywood Casino's Grand Opening was a big success.  Joan Rivers highlighted the spectacular which also include celebrity impresonators such as Robert DiNiro, Bett Midler, Johnny Depp and local contest winners.  The red carpet event featured a grand entrance by Joan Rivers via antique car and then a walk through thousands of spectators along a red carpet to a stage.  FGV provided coverage of the event with two high definition cameras along with a wireless high def camera already in place at the casino.  Images were projected on the giant screen and on many of the hundreds of flat screen monitors in place throughout the casino.  Interviews with the celebrities were conducted by Hollywood Heffilfinger of WINK 104.  Overall over 10,000 people were on hand for the Grand Opening.  FGV crew worked with BRP Entertainment in putting the event together. 

FGV Teams Up with Members 1st

FGV and Members 1st teamed up to produce Members 1sts 2008 ad campaign.  FGV submitted a number of concepts and M1st selected Advice Guy, a campaign which puts CEO Bob Marquette in the role of Advice Guy, a super hero character that delivers advice to M1st members.  A series of  3 TV spots, several radio spots and an outdoor ad make up the campaign.  Plans are to update the campaign throughout the year with new production elements.  Check out the spots on our demo page.

FGV & Hoffman Ford Award Winning Work

FGV producer Nick Chohany recently produced at TV spot for Hoffman Ford focusing on truck sales.  Hoffman Ford liked the spot so much they submitted it to Ford for recognition in the central PA region competition of Ford's Awards Program for advertising.  The spot won first place in Zone E (central PA) which put it up against all other Ford spots in the region.  From their the spot moved on to the Philadelphia district which included 150 dealers submitting a number of spots.  The Hoffman spot won 2nd place.  Congratulations to Nick and Hoffman Ford for a job well done. FGV and Chamber of Commerce Partner Together

First Generation Video and the Harrisburg Regional Chamber will partner together for the 4th straight year in developing videos to help the Chamber promote and celebrate events they hold throughout the year.  FGV will act as Video Presentation Partners, producing videos for Chamber events such as the State of the City Address, State of the Region, Business Diversity Works Conference and the Annual Awards Breakfast.

FGV Begins 18th Year!

FGV has been around for 18 years in 2008.  What started with 2 people in a garage and no equipment other than one PC has evolved into a facility that includes three non-linear edit stations, a multimedia/web design suite, an 800 sq ft studio plus office space.  Our staff has grown to 6 people and the company has been fortunate to have little turnover.  The elderstatesman is Jason Ritchey with 10 years at FGV, Nick Chohany follows with 6 years, Mick Corman with 4 years and William Hynes with 1 year.  Fran and Gail Masciantonio started the company 18 years ago.

Thanks to all of our loyal customers and clients who have stayed with us all of these years and made our growth possible.  And to all our new clients we welcome you to the fold.
