Client: Dauphin County
Project:
Demonstration Project
Project Description:

FGV was contracted by the Dauphin County Conservation District to create an educational support program for DCCD's Storm Water Management Demonstration Project. DCCD had created 15 sites that demonstrated ways to manage storm water runoff. The sites would be open to visits from municipal authorities looking to solve storm water problems. Each site took on one problem and presented solutions. FGV's job was to create a training DVD on each of the sites that would be shown prior to walking tours and left with visitors after the tour. In addition, FGV designed and built 15 display boxes which housed print material on each site. The boxes were made of weather resistant material and featured numbers and names of each site. Finally, FGV developed a site map to be given to visitors as they toured the demonstration project.

FGV's Mick Corman managed the project and created the training DVD. Footage for the DVD was compiled as the site was constructed presenting before and after scenarios. An on-camera host walked viewers through the demonstration project, highlighting features and solutions to storm water problems.
